Scratchings
A scratching is an Outcome in an Event that gets withdrawn or removed prior to the start of the Event.
- If the scratching DOES NOT VOID the ticket, NO refund is paid.
- If the scratching DOES VOID the ticket the Player is paid a full refund based on the Ticket purchase price.
A voided ticket is a ticket with NO outcomes in a game Event.
For example: tickets that had the 3 or 6 in this event were voided. The scratchings of the 3 and 6 left ticket holders with no possible chance of having the winner in Race 9.

In this example: the scratching of the 3 in Race 8 still left the possibillity of the 2 or 4 winning. Tickets that had the bracket with 2, 3, & 4 in Race 8 were not voided.

Refunds are only paid to tickets that were IN-PLAY at the time of the scratching.
Refunds are not paid to tickets that were already eliminated at the time of the scratching.
Abandoned Games and Events
Circumstances arund abandoned Events can vary widely and we reserve the right to decide what is appropriate in order to maintain th fairness and integrity of a Game.
We do, however, follow these general principles.
Where a Game is Abandoned
- All tickets that were IN-PLAY at the time the game is abandoned will be refunded.
- Refunds will not be paid to tickets the were eliminated at the time the game is abandoned.
- The abandoned events may or may not be rescheduled but the fields will most certainly be vastly different and a full refund is the fairest course of action.
Where 1 or more Events are Abandoned
- Where a single event is abandoned we treat it as a dead-heat and declare every outcome in the abandoned event as a winning outcome.
- This approach may result in multiple 'live' tickets at the conclusion of the final event and the Grand Prize will be shared, unless a shared Grand Prize is treated differently by the Terms of a specific game or promotion.
- If multiple Events in a game are abandone then the entire game will be abandoned (refer above).
Dead Heats
In the case that an Event results in a dead-heat or tie , two (2) or more Outcomes will be designated as winning Outcomes.
Dead-heats may result in multiple 'live' tickets at the conclusion of the final event and the Grand Prize will be shared, unless a shared Grand Prize is to be treated differently by the Terms of a specific game or promotion.
